Come & Play at Preston Playgroup!
Morning & Afternoon Sessions Available
Preston Playgroup re-opened in our new home at the Longcroft Hall, Philip Avenue in
2011. We offer a fun play setting for pre-school children from 2¼ to 5 years of age.
We have 2 permanent staff members, Jill Doran and Lindsey Roy, who provide a warm, welcoming
and stimulating environment for your children to enjoy a range of activities. These include story
time, painting, craft, jigsaws, play-dough, singing, snack time and loads of great toys.
We have direct access to a fantastic grassy outside area for playing and
ample parking space for the safe dropping off and picking up of the children.
Preston Playgroup has been highly praised by SCSWIS (Scottish Care & Social Work Improvement Scotland) in our last inspection, in which we were rated “very good” (5 stars) in all areas inspected.
We offer 15 morning places and 15 afternoon places, sessions as follows:
Mornings: Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 9.15 - 11.45 am
Afternoons: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday*: 12.30 - 3.00pm
(* Please note Thursday afternoons currently start at 1pm but we hope to have access to the room for
a 12.30 start in the future.)
Each session costs £4.50 and includes a healthy snack.
